North Carolina General Statute § 106A-266 permits the Town to sell such property by either of the following methods: Private negotiation and sale; advertisement for sealed bids; negotiated offer, advertisement, and upset bid; public auction or exchange.

Terms: Each bid must be submitted individually in a sealed envelope marked with the item you wish to purchase. Equipment will be sold as is and no warranty shall be provided. These items will be available for public viewing at the Public Works Shop 310 Mutual Blvd Princeville, NC on August the 11th @2:30 PM. The sealed bid will follow at the same location a 3:00 PM. At any time the Town of Princeville has the right to reject any or all bids if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Town. The highest bidder must deliver payments with a cashier’s check by 12:00 PM on August 19, 2020 to 3003 N Main Street Tarboro NC, 27886 (old health dept).If payment is not received by noon the sealed bid will be forfeited and automatically offered to the next highest bidder. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONDUCT DEMOLITION
According to North Carolina General Statute 160A-426 notice is hereby given that the Town Board of Commissioners of the Town of Princeville will hold a public hearing on August17th @ 7:00 pm at the Princeville temporary Town Hall located at 3003 N Main Street, Tarboro NC to consider the following structures that are in violation of the Town of Princeville Ordinances and has ordered the same be brought to compliance:

The owners have failed to comply with the order. The Town Board of Commissioners will take all appropriate actions to demolish and remove the structures. The meeting will be conducted by teleconference. Citizens please if you receive this letter complete it as soon as possible and send it back for the levee project.

The Town of Princeville received Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grant funding through the FEMA Public Assistance Program to raze (demolish) and reconstruct the Senior Center destroyed in Hurricane Matthew (2016).
